A combination of superior technique, creative artistry, and business flair fuels Rex Paxton's career as an in-demand stylist, national educator, and empowering business coach. Rex divides his time between B.Lush Salon in Rogers, Arkansas, and Chris Chase Salon in New York City, New York.    

Rex studied at the prestigious Paul Mitchell The School in Costa Mesa, California, where he mastered the art of color, cut, and style. Having worked with several celebrities and public figures through the years at various entertainment award shows and events, Rex has become a sought after stylist.  Rex prides himself on teaching his clients to create the salon look every day at home. As an unofficial therapist with color and shears, Rex enjoys putting clients at ease, all the while, making them feel and look beautiful in the process. 

While Rex's career success behind the chair has been astounding, educating stylists in both artistry and business is his true passion. Rex utilizes his savvy business perspective and straight-talk style in educational experiences across the country and through his exclusive online academy, Simple Prosperity Academy.    

Rex has taught on-stage at America's Beauty Show, Behind the Chair Show, the Premiere Show, and multiple times at the Jack Winn Pro Educator Summit. In 2019, he was one of six stylists who worked with runway models to craft the Prima Collection looks live on-stage for Jack Winn Pro.  

When he's not face-to-face with clients, salon owners, or students, Rex uses his vast social media reach to host live events. He strives to create conversations to empower his online community to reach their fullest potential in both business and life.
